St. Louis ChapterNext Chapter Meeting
The St. Louis Chapter of The Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals invites you to attend a late afternoon roundtable discussion focusing on lessons learned from the 2008 Annual Meeting and Proxy Season. Rather than a presentation by a speaker, we are responding to suggestions from the membership that the chapter provide a forum to foster the sharing of knowledge in a give-and-take setting to discuss issues, concerns, surprises, successes and strategies learned over the past several months. Hopefully we will all come away with knowledge to help us as we prepare our strategies and disclosures for next year's annual meetings while becoming familiar with other members so that we will all feel comfortable in consulting one another on proxy and other corporate secretarial and governance matters throughout the upcoming year and future years. To further help us to get to know one another, a cocktail party will follow immediately after the roundtable discussion. The roundtable discussion will take place in a conference room at the offices of Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP. Weather permitting, the cocktail party, including hors d'oeuvres, will take place on the firm's 6th floor outdoor patio. In the event of inclement weather, the cocktail party will take place indoors in an area immediately adjacent to the 6th floor patio. The roundtable discussion will be held in the Mississippi Room on the 6th Floor. The cocktail party will be held on the 6th floor patio. Parking: You can park in the Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP parking garage. Please bring your parking ticket to the 6th Floor receptionist for validation. Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP is providing the space for the meeting and underwriting the cost of the program so that there is no cost to the members.
