General Media PolicyThe Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals is pleased to share its programs with members of the news media. Events such as our annual National Conference often feature speeches and panel discussions with noted experts in the areas of corporate governance and compliance and regulatory affairs. Media reports from these events can help to inform our members as well as educate the general public regarding critical business issues. For information about and access to national Society events - different from access to chapter events (see below) - contact Geoff Loftus at at 212-681-2000, or by e-mail at gflotus@governanceprofessionals.org. Chapter Media PolicySociety of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals chapters throughout the United States also hold programs and seminars. Chapters handle their own news media coverage, so it is necessary to contact the program coordinator to arrange for access. A calendar of chapter events is available on the Society website, under "Local Chapters."
