Blanca N. Rosbach Becomes First Active Employee To Be Honored with the Distinguished Service Award

Blanca N. Rosbach, The Society's Director of Research & Information Services, was honored by the Society as the winner of this year's Bracebridge H. Young Distinguished Service Award, given in Colorado Springs on Saturday, June 30th.

The Society Elects New Chair and Chair-Elect

The Society held its annual meeting in Colorado Springs on June 30, 2007 and elected Lydia I. Beebe and Craig D. Mallick as chairman and chairman-elect.

The Society Honors Byrne with Distinguished Service Award

James T. Byrne, Jr., formerly the Secretary of Bankers Trust and later an advisor to the Secretary at Deutsche Bank Americas Holding Corp. in New York, was honored by the Society as the winner of this year's Bracebridge H. Young Distinguished Service Award, given in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 1st.

The Conference Board Joins The Society of Corporate Secretaries And Governance Professionals for A Unique Series Of Directors' Roundtables and Surveys

The Conference Board announced today (March 10, 2005) that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals that will enable the organizations to collaborate on programs for board directors and develop corporate governance surveys. The organizations will hold their first joint Director Roundtable Forum on June 9-10 followed by another Roundtable on November 8-9 at The Links Club in New York City.
