The Society Elects New Chairmen
At Annual Meeting in Los Angeles
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
LOS ANGELES — The Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals elected Susan Ellen Wolf of Schering Plough as Society chairman for the 2005-06 year at its annual meeting here on June 24, 2005.
William J. Mostyn III of Bank of America was elected Chairman-Elect for 2005-06 at the same meeting.
Ms. Wolf is Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Secretary, Schering-Plough Corporation. She has served on the Society's Board of Directors from 1999 to 2002; on the Corporate Accountability Task Force from 2003 to the present; and on the Corporate Practices Committee during 1998-2000. She was the chairman of the Securities Law Committee from 2001 to 2004.
Mr. Mostyn is Deputy General Counsel and Secretary, Bank of America. He has served on the Society's Board of Directors from 2002 to the present; on the Educational Programs Committee from 2001 to 2003; on the Executive Steering Committee from 2003 to the present; and on the Securities Law Committee from 2001 to the present.
