Professional Service Providers GovernanceMetrics International (GMI) GovernanceMetrics International (GMI) is an independent investment research firm specializing in corporate governance risk assessment. Covering 4,000 companies worldwide, the firm provides research and ratings only and does not offer consulting services to rated companies. GMI is owned by its founders, management, and three outside investors—State Street Global Advisors; ABP, the Dutch Government Pension Fund; and the Inter-Atlantic Fund, a private equity investment vehicle for insurance companies and pension funds. Through a special arrangement with the Society, members are able to receive a substantial discount for purchases of their own GMI Rating Reports. Under this arrangement, Society members can subscribe to our single company subscription service for $1,500 per year (normally $2,500). This service provides for online access to all Rating Reports and News Updates published by GMI about their company throughout the year. Society members can also purchase single copies of their own Rating Reports for $500 per report (normally $1,000).
